A 51-year-old man apparently drown in a northeastern Minnesota lake.
The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office says deputies received a report of a water emergency on Birch Lake near Sand Island at about 12:45 p.m. Friday.
A man had fallen out of a small boat near a houseboat where he was staying. He was not wearing a life jacket.
A dive team later found his body. His identity is being withheld until his relatives can be notified.
