A North Mankato man is charged in the death of his 3-month-old son.
Christopher Douglas Farris faces 10 felonies, including three counts of second-degree murder, first and second-degree manslaughter and assault.
The complaint quotes the 27-year-old as saying he jerked Dawson John Farris from a bouncy seat by one arm after he started crying and his head may have hit a door in their trailer. He also allegedly admitted bouncing the boy hard.
The medical examiner says he died of head trauma and had damage to his optic nerve, a bite mark on his cheek and a bruise on his skull.
