A grand jury has indicted a former Chisholm police officer on a first-degree murder charge in a bar shooting last March.
St. Louis County Attorney Melanie Ford says a grand jury sitting in Hibbing indicted Jason Mark Musburger on Wednesday.
Musburger now faces a first-degree murder charge in the shooting death of 40-year-old Edward John Walberg.
The grand jury also indicted Musburger on attempted murder charges in the wounding of two other men at the bar.
An earlier criminal complaint says Musburger felt "humiliated" after he had been beaten up in front of his ex-wife at a Chisholm bar. He allegedly returned with two guns and began firing at three men sitting at a table with his ex-wife.
Musburger is being held on $3 million bail. He's to appear in court on the new charges Friday.
