Police are looking for the driver who struck and killed an elderly woman in Bloomington, then fled the scene.
Authorities say the 85-year-old woman was hit by a pickup truck about 7:30 p.m. Thursday while crossing a street.
Witnesses came to the woman's aid. She was taken to the Hennepin County Medical Center where she later died.
The St. Paul Pioneer Press reports the dark colored full-size pickup with a topper has front end damage. Pieces of the vehicle were found at the scene.
