Records show utility employee was electrocuted

Records show the death of a Minnesota Power employee last month was due to electrocution.

The Minnesota Occupational Safety and Health Administration continues to investigate the death of 47-year-old Kyle Damberg. A death certificate filed in Cook County now shows what caused Damberg's death.

Damberg's body was found in a maintenance building under construction near the company's Taconite Harbor Energy Center in Schroeder Sept. 3.

The St. Paul Pioneer Press reports Damberg had worked for Minnesota Power for 23 years.
