Police recover suspect pickup in Minn. hit-and-run
Bloomington police have recovered a pickup suspected in last week's hit-and-run that killed an 85-year-old woman.
Police say the 2000 black Chevrolet Silverado was impounded Wednesday from a parking lot. Police say the pickup has front-end damage consistent with the crash.
Investigators are trying to confirm who was driving the pickup at the time of last Thursday evening's crash.
Dorothy Ann Hanson of Bloomington was walking home after having dinner with her husband at a nearby care facility when she was struck and killed while crossing Old Shakopee Road. Police say the pickup continued without slowing or stopping.
