Hennepin County prosecutors have charged a retired Minneapolis parks police captain with 14 new counts of child pornography, saying an investigation found almost 150,000 videos and pictures.
Sixty-seven-year-old William Jacobs of Deephaven already faces two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and one of possessing child pornography.
Prosecutors filed an additional 14 felony child porn charges Thursday in an amended complaint stemming from a January search of Jacobs' home.
County Attorney Mike Freeman calls it "horrible stuff."
Jacobs is accused of molesting a boy from 2007 until last January, when the boy went to authorities. Jacobs pleaded not guilty and is free on bail.
His attorney, Paul Engh, says he had not seen the amended complaint and had no immediate comment.
