3 die in Minnesota crashes

Three people died in car crashes in Minnesota over the weekend, including a 16-year-old boy.

The State Patrol reports that 24-year-old Wesley Hannan died after he veered off I-494, over-corrected and rolled Sunday morning. Hannan, of Andover, was wearing a seatbelt.

On Saturday afternoon, 41-year-old Thomas Spaulding, of Faribault, died after he crashed into a tree on Highway 246 in Goodhue County.

On Friday night, 16-year-old Jordan Ressler died after a three-vehicle crash on Highway 14 in Dodge County. One vehicle slowed because of a deer in the road, causing two others to collide behind it.

Ressler went to Blooming Prairie High School, where officials opened the building Monday for community members and students to mourn. Monday was previously a day off.

Ressler's funeral is set for Wednesday.
