Organizer
Kathy Klehr, the director of the Scott County Historical Society, organized the Veterans Day luminary in downtown Shakopee, Minn. "I'm a pacifist," said Klehr. "But hearing the stories of veterans has opened my eyes to all the sacrifices individuals in the service made. And that sacrifice is still going on. So I just had to do something to acknowledge that."
