The lone finalist to be the next president of the University of Minnesota is scheduled to be on the Twin Cities campus this week for a series of public events.
Eric Kaler was named the only finalist on Friday. He's the provost and senior vice president for academic affairs at Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, New York.
He will be at a public forum at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Coffman Memorial Union Theater where he will be taking questions, which must be submitted by 5 p.m. Monday.
To submit by e-mail, send the question to regents@umn.edu with the phrase "Presidential Finalist" in the subject line.
On Thursday, Kaler will undergo a one-hour public interview with the Board of Regents starting at 11:45 a.m. at the McNamara Alumni Center in the sixth floor boardroom.
