Ex-Twin Cities attorney disbarred over sex charge
The Minnesota Supreme Court has disbarred a once-prominent Twin Cities attorney who pleaded guilty to having sex with a 15-year-old boy.
The court filed an order Friday disbarring Aaron Biber. KARE-TV reports Biber agreed to the disbarment on Nov. 20.
Biber was sentenced to 18 years in prison in October after pleading guilty to first-degree criminal sexual conduct in a plea deal.
Biber was previously employed by the Gray Plant Mooty law firm in Minneapolis and was treasurer of the State Bar Association.
