An elementary school in the eastern Twin Cities was briefly evacuated because of a chemical smell in the hallway.
Police were called to Grey Cloud Elementary about 3:45 p.m. Monday, around the time school was getting out for the day.
Staff and students who had after-school activities were allowed back in within 20 minutes after the building was deemed safe.
The St. Paul Pioneer Press reports investigators are trying to determine the source of the smell.
