1 killed in snowmobile crash in Chisago Co.
A man has died after a head-on snowmobile crash near Taylors Falls. The driver of the other sled remains hospitalized in St. Paul.
The Chisago County sheriff's office says deputies received a report of the crash about 3 p.m. Saturday. It said the two sleds collided head-on on the Wild River snowmobile trail and the machines were on fire.
The victims are identified only as adult males. Both were taken to Regions Hospital in St. Paul, where one has died and one remained on Sunday.
