The risk that one MnSCU trustee was willing to overlook

Minnesota State Colleges and Universities trustee James Van Houten tells MPR's Tim Post why the choice of Steven Rosenstone for chancellor was very risky:

My concern is if there's a big learning curve to get ready to carry out whatever those visions would be, they're not going to be implemented very quickly. I think the board just has to be aware that we need a different style with this particular choice.

(Van Houten ended up voting for Rosenstone.)
