Schools in southwestern Minnesota delayed

At least 35 school districts delayed classes Monday in southwestern Minnesota due to drifting snow and treacherous driving conditions.

From New Ulm to Redwood Falls and the South Dakota border, gusty winds and up to four inches of snow are making travel tough, especially on rural roads.

KARE-TV says wind chills are in the single digits below zero. A wind chill advisory is in effect for the Twin Cities, Mankato, Albert Lea, St. Cloud, Alexandria, Marshall and Worthington.
