Video: How the SAT is unfair

Now here's someone with a cause: high school junior Allie Kauffmann, who's railing against the unfairness of the SAT.

In this little video -- made with her film-professor father and commentary by a FairTest official, Kauffman explains how the test (as well as the ACT) is biased in the areas of gender, race, economic background and first language.

She's has a petition going at ACToutagainstSAT.com to bring the issue to the attention of Joyce E. Smith, President of the National Association of College Admission Counseling.

You can read the Huffington Post story on Kauffman here.
