Mob robbers hit convenience stores in St. Paul

St. Paul police are investigating another 'mob robbery' case at a local convenience store.

A crowd of young people swarmed into a Holiday convenience store over the weekend and started stealing items. St. Paul police spokesman Andy Skoogman says about 50 people stormed the store.

The 'mob robbery' is similar to one at a BP station less than six months ago. About 20 young people stole merchandise and one assaulted the clerk on the way out. Investigators tell KARE-TV surveillance video is helping them identify the suspects.
