U of M officials yesterday unveiled a plan to navigate tough budgets in the future.
It's actually a series of reports from departments across the system laying out how they'll deal with reduced funding.
U of M provost Tom Sullivan presented the plan to the school's board of regents, suggesting it was a good exercise for the U to go through during hard times.
"It gives us an opportunity to really look very carefully at where we are strong and have high quality, where we have comparative advantage and what must we just give up because we can't afford to do it."
Most are suggestions at this point, it's up to deans at the U of M to put them in place.
