Faribault Foods Inc. is voluntarily recalling Field Day Organic Garbanzo Beans because some cans with this label may contain minestrone soup.
The company has received two reports that cans of the organic garbanzo beans contain minestrone, a vegetable and pasta soup. The soup contains wheat, milk, soy and egg allergens.
The 15-ounce cans were in grocery and other retail outlets nationwide.
The affected product has the code 813 C1 014 10 printed on the bottom of the can.
No illnesses have been associated with the product. Retailers are removing the product from store shelves.
Faribault Foods has its corporate offices in Minneapolis and a plant in Faribault.
