Capella paid its CEO, Kevin Gilligan, $3.85 million last year -- a 64 percent increase from his pay in 2009, which happened to be his first year on the job, the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal reports.
The news comes a month after Capella announced it was shedding 125 non-faculty positions because of "challenging conditions" -- despite its revenue and profit increases.
