Brooklyn Park police are investigating the shooting deaths of a man and woman in the break room of a Festival Foods.
In a news release, police say someone heard several shots from the back of the grocery store and called police at about 8:30 p.m. Friday.
Officers went to the employee break room where they found a woman dead from a gunshot wound. A man was also shot and later died at a local hospital.
Police say they soon identified a male ex-acquaintance of the woman as a suspect and tracked him to Minneapolis.
But when officers approached, he shot himself and died. Police say they are not searching for any other suspects.
A message left Saturday for Deputy Chief Craig Enevoldsen was not immediately returned.
