Adult dead after mobile home fire in Blaine

An adult is dead after a mobile home fire in a northern suburb of Minneapolis.

Garrett Parten, chief of operations for the Spring Lake Park-Blaine-Mounds View fire department, says a neighbor called 911 just before 2 a.m. Monday.

When firefighters arrived they found the home full of flames. Parten says firefighters found a person dead inside but they haven't made positive identification yet. A man did live there but they don't know if the victim is the same person.

Investigators are still looking into the fire's cause and origin. Parten says the state fire marshal has also been called.
