Cost of scrapped Anoka prez search: $62,100-plus

As I posted yesterday, the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MnSCU) system scrapped the presidential search for Anoka-Ramsey Community College and Anoka Technical College, leaving current Anoka-Ramsey interim chief Jessica Stumpf to head up both colleges until a replacement is found.

MnSCU won't say what happened, but spokeswoman Melinda Voss did say what that little dance with the candidates cost: $62,097, including search firm fees and advertising.

She added, however:

Not all the bills for candidate travel are in yet.
