Officials have reopened a 30-mile stretch of Interstate 29 that was closed north of Fargo due to flooding.

The Transportation Department says both the northbound and southbound lanes are open from Exit 69 to Exit 100. The stretch had been closed since Sunday.

Officials say there is still water near the edge of the roadway from north of Harwood to Argusville, and speeds are reduced on that stretch.

Traffic except for emergency vehicles and some commercial trucks still is being detoured on I-29 between Manvel and Grafton because of water on the road.
