New MnSCU chancellor to make $360,000 base

Was listening into the MnSCU board meeting and got this:

MnSCU Chancellor-elect Steven Rosenstone's contract will be the same as the current chancellor's: $360,000 base salary with up to $50,000 in "performance achievement" pay. There are other "minor" changes, the board says.

Will post the contract when I get it.

Some stats given at the meeting:

The chancellor's pay is second to last among comparable U.S. higher-ed CEOs, and 18th among MN government employees. Those with salaries above him include the University of Minnesota president, athletic coaches and medical school folks.
