Girl, 9, dies in ATV accident near Silver Lake
A 9-year-old girl is dead after an all-terrain vehicle accident in central Minnesota.
The Hennepin County medical examiner's office says Mileka Hall of Silver Lake was pronounced dead at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis late Saturday. She died of head injuries.
The McLeod County sheriff's office says the girl was driving an ATV when the accident happened north of Silver Lake. She was airlifted to HCMC in critical condition.
The sheriff's office is investigating.
