Three men are in custody after a bar fight left a Chaska man dead.
Early Friday morning, a Chaska police officer discovered a group of men fighting outside of Kelley's Bar. Police say they found Jason David Foster, of Chaska, at the scene of the fight with multiple stab wounds. The 35-year-old Foster died later at a Two Twelve Medical Center.
Police say Foster was involved in the fight.
The three suspects are in the Carver County jail. Two men were from Chaska, the third from Minneapolis. Second-degree murder charges will be sought against the Minneapolis man. The other two may face first-degree riot charges. Police from Chaska and deputies from Carver County arrested "numerous" other adults. They have been released.
The owner of Kelley's Bar told police he will shutter his business Friday and perhaps all weekend.
Police call the bar a "source of concern." On Tuesday, the owner and police were scheduled to talk about the future of the bar's liquor license.
