New newspaper launches in Bismarck

North Dakota's capital city has a new newspaper.

Thirty-two-year-old Matt Bunk tells The Forum newspaper that he's frustrated with the way corporate newspapers operate. He says he's launched the Great Plains Examiner to provide more investigative and in-depth local news.

Bunk is editor and publisher of the newspaper that is available free online and once a month in print. He says it will focus on political and business news but also will feature people stories.

The daily newspaper in Bismarck is The Bismarck Tribune, owned by Lee Enterprises. Publisher Brian Kroshus says that paper's employees take great pride in what they do.
