Fargo police say a man rescued from his submerged car in the Red River over the weekend has died.
Thirty-two-year-old James Gress Jr. of neighboring Moorhead, Minn., died Monday in a Fargo hospital.
The Forum newspaper reports that authorities believe Gress was under water for at least 12 minutes following the crash shortly after 5:30 p.m. Saturday. Authorities are still investigating how the crash happened.
