Monday was Bill Kling's last appearance on Ask the President Day on Midday.

Bill Kling has been the President of Minnesota Public Radio since 1967 when we first went on the air. Actually, he was here before we went on the air...all the way back to the time when St. John's University first started talking about launching a radio station specializing in classical music, the arts and the news.

After 45 plus years, Bill Kling is moving on. He's stepping down at the end of the week as President and CEO and launching a new venture designed to strengthen public radio all across the nation. Before he heads out, he stopped by Midday for one last Ask the President...a chance for people who listen to the station to talk to the man in charge.
