LA CROSSE, Wis. (AP) - Three people have been arrested and could face charges after a body was found in a La Crosse park.
Police say the body of a man was found Thursday afternoon on a steep embankment in Red Cloud Park. Most neighbors say they didn't see or hear anything suspicious until investigators arrived at the park.
Dick Merfeld lives across the street from where the body was found. Merfeld tells the La Crosse Tribune (http://bit.ly/o1sebe ) that he was cutting a loose tree branch Wednesday near the crime scene and noticed ferns were trampled.
