Summer camp to help kids affected by Mpls tornado

Children affected by the deadly tornado that struck north Minneapolis in May will have a chance to recover at a special summer camp.

Camp Noah opens a five-day run Monday. Several north Minneapolis churches along with Lutheran Social Services of Minnesota are offering the day camp.

Organizers say the activities are designed to help kids deal with their fears and to make new friends.

The camp will serve children from first through sixth grade. All children are welcome.

St. Olaf Lutheran Church, Salem Lutheran Church and Jordan New Life Community Church are hosting the camp. The cost is $10 per child.
