Minneapolis police say a boy who was found dead on a north side street on Saturday was an apparent victim of homicide.
Police say officers responded late that night to a report of shots fired and a person in the street in the 1700 block of Morgan Avenue North. Emergency personnel found the boy dead.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of death.
The boy's name has not been released.
The police department says it has no suspects in custody, and is asking that anyone with information call them at 612-692-8477.
