Gov. Dayton on 9/11 and the decade since

On Sunday, it will be ten years to the day since the terrorist attacks of 9/11. All this week we've been looking at what's changed over the course of the difficult decade that followed. In 2001, Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton was a U.S. Senator. He was in Washington on the day of the attacks.

MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with the governor this week week about that day and how it changed the country. Dayton said that after the U.S. Capitol building was evacuated, he walked back to the Hotel George where he was staying at the time.
