Tests have come back normal on football coach Jerry Kill, said the team physician for the Minnesota Gophers.

Kill collapsed and suffered a seizure Saturday during the Gophers home opener at TCF Bank Stadium. Kill is now resting comfortably at a hospital, Dr. Pat Smith said.

Smith said that it is too early to discuss further details, including when he expects Coach Kill to be released from the hospital.

Kill has a history of cancer and seizures. Heat on the field may have exacerbated the episode yesterday, Smith said.

Gopher Athletics Department officials say there will be no further updates on Coach Kill's condition today. They say they hope to provide more information on Monday.
