MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Kevin Williams has been a regular at Target Center this season while watching the Minnesota Lynx dominate the WNBA.

Now he and the Minnesota Vikings are trying to get some more fans to join them for Game 1 of the Western Conference finals on Thursday night.

The Vikings have purchased 500 tickets for the game against the Phoenix Mercury. The upper level tickets will be available for free to those who call the Lynx ticket office.

The Twins and Wild did the same thing during the first round when the Lynx defeated San Antonio in three games for their first playoff series victory in franchise history.

Fans can call the Lynx ticket office at 612-673-8400 starting at 7 a.m. local time to redeem their tickets. Each fan can claim two tickets. (Copyright 2011 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.)
