MILWAUKEE (AP) - A Frank Lloyd Wright house has been put on the market Milwaukee.
It's one of six houses on the south side known as the American System-Built Homes, which Wright did as part of his lifelong pursuit of providing affordable housing for low-income residents.
They were produced from factory-cut materials assembled onsite.
Jillayne and Dave Arena bought the building when it was a duplex 30 years ago. Jillayne Arena has said they put hundreds of thousands of dollars into making it a one-family home and preserving it, after it had been a rental property.
The three-bedroom house is listed at just under $200,000. It was built around 1916.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that Dave Arena is selling it because he has taken a job in Iowa.
