The Minnesota Historical Society Press and Borealis Books received about $52,700 in funds from the state's Legacy Amendment to publish e-books and a couple of iPad apps over the last two years. E-books only represent 3 percent of the publisher's total sales so far. Minnesota Historical Society Press top-selling e-books

2. "Answering 911," a book first published in 2007 by Caroline Burau about her experience as an emergency dispatcher

3. "Lost in the Wild," survival odysseys of two wilderness trekkers, by Cary Griffith first published in 2007
