Authorities say a woman charged in the shooting death of her ex-husband in central Minnesota also is a suspect in a fatal shooting at a motel in northwestern Wisconsin.
Thirty-eight-year-old Angelina Omara of Cold Spring, Minn., is charged with second-degree murder in the death of her ex-husband, James Omara, in his apartment in Sauk Rapids, Minn.
James Omara was found dead Tuesday. Angelina Omara was arrested in Sioux Falls, S.D., early Thursday after her SUV was found abandoned.
The body of Omara's boyfriend, 36-year-old Michael Pies, was found at a motel in Ashland Wednesday night.
No charges have been filed in Pies' killing. But Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension spokeswoman Jill Oliveira tells the Star Tribune that Angelina Omara is suspected in Pies' death.
Omara remains jailed in Sioux Falls.
