Vikings sell out Saints game, will be televised

The Minnesota Vikings game against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday will be televised locally after the team reached sellout status on Wednesday.

The Vikings have sold out every home game since the beginning of the 1998 season. That streak was thought to be in jeopardy this year as the team struggled mightily on the field.

The Vikings are 2-11 and firmly in last place in the NFC North. If they don't win two of their final three games, they'll finish with the worst record in franchise history. They play at Washington next week before finishing the season at home against Chicago.

The streak will carry over to next season if the Vikings can sell out their final game of the season against the Bears on Jan. 1.
