Minn. man charged in brother's fatal stabbing

A Mounds View man is charged with fatally stabbing his younger brother after the two were drinking and arguing.

The Ramsey County Attorney's office charged 56-year-old Jay Hilling with second-degree murder Thursday.

According to the complaint, Hilling called 911 Tuesday night to report his brother had been stabbed. When officers arrived they found 51-year-old Michael Hilling lying on the floor with a kitchen knife in his hand and a blood-soaked towel on his chest.

The stabbing happened at the home of the brothers' mother. Carole Hilling told police she was in her bedroom and only heard her sons arguing.
