Minn. boy suspended for MJ groin grab back in school

The 9-year-old student suspended after mimicking Michael Jackson's famous groin grab dance during a fundraiser at a Catholic elementary school in Winona is back in class.

Lenny Broberg was reinstated at St. Stanislaus after he and his family met with school officials Monday. Winona Area Catholic Schools Principal Pat Bowlin approached the boy and his mother at last Thursday's fundraiser and told them Lenny's lip-sync performance of "Billie Jean" amounted to gross misconduct and that Lenny would be suspended.

Lenny's mother, Mindy Broberg, tells the Winona Daily News that she never expected the suspension to get the amount of attention it garnered. The story appeared on websites for the Los Angeles Times and the Telegraph in Australia, among many others. Broberg says she's just happy her son is back in school.
