Ordway announces 2012-2012 season

The Ordway Center for the Performing Arts revealed a broad and varied 2012-2013 season tonight with a selection of brand new offerings and old favorites. Broadway hits "Billy Elliot," "Elf," and "Chicago" are interspersed with musical performances from the likes of Minnesota-raised Mexican musician Lila Downs, Irish fiddler Eileen Ivers, and Latin jazz veteran Poncho Sanchez, and internationally acclaimed dance companies from New York. Mexico, and New Zealand. The Ordway will also present three more of its popular Broadway Songbook series, featuring local performers.
