The Bloomington man accused of throwing objects including a vise at passing cars was re-arrested Thursday morning.
Thirty-two year old Gerrett Parks is now being held in the Hennepin County Jail, with bail set at $800,000. The Hennepin County attorney issued a warrant for Parks arrest Wednesday for four counts of damage to property in the first degree (risk bodily harm) and one count of first-degree assault.
The charges arose from 14 incidents between Dec. 29 and Feb. 27 where objects were tossed at cars and trucks from a passing vehicle. Police say they can link Parks to five of the incidents, including one where a vise thrown therough a car window severely injured the driver.
Police had been searching for Parks as he had made an earlier lower bail on the property damage complaints . He also made bail later for charges of drunk driving and fleeing police in Polk County Wisconsin on Sunday.
