Internet sensation Marilyn Hagerty is in New York today. The Grand Forks Herald sent the now-famous restaurant critic east to write a blog entitled "Marilyn in Manhattan."
As you've probably heard, Hagerty's glowing review of a new Olive Garden restaurant in Grand Forks was picked up all over the Internet. Since it was posted last week, she has become a media star. This week she did interviews with all the major television networks.
Marilyn is not the only writer in the Hagerty family. Her son James, who lives in Pittsburgh, covers manufacturing for the Wall Street Journal. He wrote a piece, that was published yesterday, entitled "When mom goes viral." Hagerty spoke with Minnesota Public Radio's Cathy Wurzer about his famous mom.
