Kerri's Pick of the Week is "House of Stone," journalist Anthony Shadid's memoir of returning to Lebanon to renovate his family's ancestral home. Shadid was a Pulitzer-Prize winning journalist for the New York Times.
He talked to Kerri last year about the perils of reporting from a war zone. He died last month in Syria after suffering an asthma attack.
