Son of former Twins owner cited for indecent exposure

A sports labor attorney who served in the Minnesota Twins front office under its former owner, his father, has been cited for indecent exposure.

A female student at William Mitchell College of Law has accused former adjunct professor Clark Griffith of exposing himself to her outside a restaurant where they had a meeting about a law clinic Jan. 24. A complaint says the 70-year-old Griffith, son of former Twins owner Calvin Griffith, also place the woman's hand on his groin area.

Griffith tells the St. Paul Pioneer Press the allegations by the 24-year-old student are "ridiculous." Griffith added that he's done nothing wrong. The college says Griffith has resigned his teaching position.

Griffith was executive vice president of the Twins under his father's ownership. Calvin Griffith sold the team in 1984.
