Minn. Marine fatally shot during Texas visit
A Marine from Minnesota was shot and killed while visiting friends in Texas.
The Marine Corps Air Station Miramar says 24-year-old Aaron Talley, of Clarissa, was shot Sunday at a residence in San Antonio. Police say the shooting was apparently accidental. Talley's friend was handling a shotgun, pointed it at Talley and it discharged. A woman was also at the home at the time of the shooting.
Talley was a corrections specialist at the Naval Consolidated Brig assigned to the headquarters squadron at Miramar, Calif.
San Antonio police are investigating.
