Police detail fatal MN crash

Investigators believe a motorist probably fainted before he crashed head-on into another vehicle in Eagan, killing both drivers.

An investigative report says autopsies showed neither driver had any alcohol or drugs in their system. There were no signs of distracted driving and no mechanical issues. But, police say they learned 18-year-old Ahsim Ahmed had seen a doctor for a fainting condition.

KMSP-TV reports witnesses told police that Ahmed appeared to be asleep just before the crash that took his life and that of 42-year-old Kelly Kristiansen on March 17.
