Suspect sought in assault on MN deputy
Law enforcement officers are looking for a suspect who assaulted a Washington County sheriff's deputy during a traffic stop.
Authorities say the driver punched and kicked the deputy after he was pulled over Thursday night near Stillwater. Police dogs and handlers from Stillwater, Cottage Grove and Chisago County helped search for the suspect by ground while the State Patrol provided air support.
The St. Paul Pioneer Press says the deputy suffered minor injuries.
